Channel 4 has axed Ant Middleton from future projects due to "personal conduct".
The SAS: Who Dares Wins star faced criticism over comments that he made against the Black Lives Matter protests and his stance on Coronavirus. Now in a statement, the channel has said that: "It has become clear that our views and values are not aligned".
"Reckless and Desperate"
Meanwhile, Middleton himself has commented that he's "really excited about the future and what's coming this year". He has also slammed the Channel and criticised them as being both "reckless and desperate". Last June, Middleton apologised after referring to Black Lives Matter and English Defence League protesters as "absolute scum". On Wednesday, The Daily Mirror reported that Middleton had made inappropriate comments to a female member of staff on SAS: Who Dares Wins. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he said that he had "butted heads" with the production team and that he had not been the easiest person to work with.
SAS: Who Dares Wins has run for seven series, since 2015, and former United Kingdom Special Forces soldier Middleton has been the chief instructor throughout.
