Deaths from Covid-19 declined again in the Liverpool City Region during the fourth week of March, new figures have shown. Thirteen people in the city region died from Covid-19 during the week up to March 26, down from seventeen the week before, according to figures released by the Office for National Statistics.
Liverpool's public health director has moved to reassure people in the city that an upcoming events pilot is not linked to vaccine passort proposals after businesses involved received abuse. It will see Liverpool follow in the footsteps of Amsterdam and Barcelona by taking part in what is being described as "science-led research".
Tate Liverpool are displaying thirty incredible images by young creatives capturing life in the North West on billboards around the city, giving a glimpse into life during lockdown in the region. The images will also be shown in the studio at Tate Liverpool once the gallery is able to reopen later in May.
