LEAVING LOCKDOWN: With Covid rates falling should restrictions be eased sooner?
MPs have urged Boris Johnson to look at “date not dates” and to speed up the end of lockdown, as Britain recorded just one Covid death in the lowest daily number since last August and as vaccines hit 50 million.
Despite the falling numbers and increasing number of vaccinated Brits, Britain is still not scheduled to return to normal for another 7 weeks, with ministers hinting that masks and forms of social distancing could remain beyond June 21.
