WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY 2021: Isabella Evans gets Celebrity help
Every year World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated on 21 March. This year, the global theme is “We Decide”, meaning that 'You should be involved in all decisions that are made about your lives'.
Isabella Evans was 11 when she started to make quite an impression online with her sign language skills.The social media star, who now has over 200,000 followers on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, teaches people sign language. She started learning Makaton sign language to enable her to communicate with her brother Lucus, who has Down Syndrome and is non-verbal.
This year, to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, Isabella got celebrities such as The Vamps, Wayne Lineker, Melvin O'Doom and Rob Beckett (to name a few) to sign the song - 'Somebody to You' by The Vamps.
