BREAK AWAY: European Super League chairman says clubs are trying to save football
Anger has mounted over plans for a European Super League, with the Government threatening to punish clubs that break away.
Current and former players, celebrities, politicians and royalty have all been united in their disgust over the plans, while UEFA dubbed the owners of the Premier League’s Big Six taking part as “snakes”.
Meanwhile the chairman of the new European Super League has defended the tournament, saying those
