CARABAO CUP: Third round draw promises plenty of action

The second round of the Carabao Cup certainly didn’t disappoint, with goals and drama aplenty.
The third round of the Carabao Cup will see current holders Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Leicester and West Ham join the action.
Pep Guardiola’s side will start their cup defence at home against League One side Wycombe Wanderers.
Last season’s runners-up Tottenham will face boss Nuno Espirito Santo’s former side Wolves.
Arsenal, who coasted through the second round after disposing of West Brom 6-0, will face AFC Wimbledon.
Southampton, who also had a comfortable second round, beating Newport 8-0, will travel away to Sheffield United.
There are three all Premier League ties in the third round draw, those being:
Manchester United v West Ham
Norwich v Liverpool
Chelsea v Aston Villa
Last seasons FA Cup winners Leicester will host Championship side Millwall at the King Power stadium.
Everton will travel to QPR after inching past Huddersfield and Leeds also make the trip to west London to face Fulham.
Newly promoted Watford will entertain Stoke, Burnley host Rochdale and Brighton are at home to Swansea City.
Brentford, who were semi-finalists last year will host League Two side Oldham at the Community Stadium.
League One sides Wigan and Sunderland will do battle at the DW Stadium.
To finish the draw, Cheltenham, who are in the third round for the first time, face Preston away.
The third round ties will commence over the week beginning September 20th.
